A pen, you can’t drive an analogue tacho equipped truck without one.

If you’re not doing nights out a pen, your wallet, a cell phone, a pair of gloves, a torch, map(s) - electronic or paper whatever you prefer, and a tape measure - especially if driving artics because how else will you know the height of the vehicle, should cover it.

Nights out add in bedding, change of clothes, washing kit.

Baby wipes, work just as well as swafega wipes for getting grease and dirt of your hands and you can use them to have a quick wipe down on a hot day (maybe we’ll get a few more this year…)
