Trailer wheel fell off

Any one else see it this morning? I was heading southbound on the M6 at around 6am, about 2 miles before Keele services when I noticed a truck wheel doing about 50 mph also southbound rolling down the hard shoulder in front of me.

I started to brake and it suddenly veered to the right in front of me across all three lanes narrowly missing a Transit pick up, it looked like it was going to cross the central reservation but was caught by the barrier and came to rest leaning against the barrier, very lucky no one was killed.

A bit further ahead a foreign registered artic was on the hard shoulder minus a nearside trailer wheel, scary

why didn’t you stop and pick it up.
you never know when you’ll need a tyre.

I also got stuck in that i was in middle lane,was watching it roll about then bang a car ran into another car in lane 3

It costs a fiver just to sit in a ■■■■ taxi.
