well if you havent been passed long dont bother applying.
i got the letter and was awaiting a call for interview.
i rang em today and they said i wouldnt be doing dss, but are prob on the waiting list for a postion in my areaā€¦
they said cus im only just passed i woudnt be good enough, going to rdcs and customers etc all the time ā€¦ so i take it i wouldnt be doing rdcs and going to customers from my local depotā€¦ all seems a little strange to me.
still ive got my class 2 job thats paying Ā£3 a hour more than eddiesā€¦

Iā€™ve heard on the old ā€˜rumour grapevineā€™ that ES are recruiting ā€˜Midlands basedā€™ to cover Crick and the old Blakes/Arla/Corby Chilled/Innovate/ES site at Alcester. Which immediately poses the question as to how often one would be asked to, ā€œJust run down to Bristolā€, or ā€œUp to Stokeā€.

A van for Private Use. Youā€™d have to check with HMRC but, not long ago I read that they are now defining ā€˜occasional Private Useā€™ as ā€˜one trip to the tip, ā€¦a yearā€™. Anything more than that, and you are likely to be hammered on Tax.
