Hi would anyone remember or have pictures of the scania 141 units that were operated from the Chesterfield depot mid 80’s also the roadtrains that were on low loader work,and the one that was bought new to run with matching fridge trailer, used to work there as a lad but never had a camera !!!
No pictures but I know the man, can’t remember his first name though.
We won a cruise back in the 90s and he was on there with his wife and son. I later visited him looking for a job and he offered me the TM spot. I didn’t want that because I was already doing it and wanted to return to driving. We kept in touch and one day I was there after all his offices had burnt down, started in the pallet firm next door and was suspected arson.
Finally, after I came to live here I rang him and he wondered if I would do some car pilot work for him in France, but nothing came of it.
He had green and white Scanias as I remember but was talking about getting some double drive Magnums, never saw one though.
