if i was buy a truck registered in southeren ireland, how would i get it registered in uk and get some uk number plate put on it?
I expect you would go to DVLA and they would sort out the paperwork…be the same as putting a private plate on I think, I would think you would have to have a british MOT test before it went on the road though.
Better still leave it on Irish plates and you can run as heavy and as fast as you want 
looks to much of a hassle, ill just buy a UK model instead

just read up, it needs a one of those SVA’s intead but in the next few years its getting renamed to IVA for types of kit cars, imports etc.

ur not wrong but the one i was looking at limited to 80kph but would probs somehow do 80mph!!
