Has anybody had any experiance of doing this, any advantages or pitfulls?
Its great you can run a 700bhp scania with no limiter and carry a load of hanging beef and 20 ton of steel on the floor and throw the tachos out the window. 
On a serious note you can expect plenty of attention from the vostapo. And a relation pf mine had had to apply for a uk o licence and reregister three trucks to the uk because of the new cabbotage rules and he had a lot of uk work due to the fact they are more screwed than us at the moment.
Why not just try to run a bit legal?
