I came across an advert in Truck & Driver from a company called secondhandtrucks.co.uk who offer "guaranteed work " when you buy one of their used trucks. They also seem to be linked with a company called Maritime who offer owner driver opportunites also.
Has anyone come across these before or had any experience working with companies like these 
Is it too good to be true 
Or is it a genuine opportunity 
Hi Mat, i looked all into this, it looks good but please give it a wide berth, theres loads on here about containers. I thought about going down this road, had a finance deal in place, was so close to signing, then i stumbled on this website, saved my bacon mate. Have a look around this forum mate, all the answeres are there. Im not saying i wouldnt in the future but definatly not now. Save your pennies cause i think next year is going to be even tougher.
Only a rumour, but Maritime Tilbury are supposed to have parked 40 of these owner drivers up as there isn’t enough work to go around.
