Just after a bit of information if anyone can help. Been reading the ads in Truck and Driver and would like to know if these companies offering owner drivers work ( Hanbury Davies, Maritime etc.) actually pay enough and give you enough work to make a decent living. What are they like to work for?
cheers mate, doesn’t look like a good idea does it. .
It certainly doesnt. The most I ever made per mile with traction was about £1.20 but it was usually about £1.00 a mile. I then changed to a 8 wheeler tipper and never looked back. Also stay away from Artic tippers as this is from experience!!
