Hey there to all that may take the time to read this letter… My names mick and I haven’t driven for a few years and I am really missing being on the road. I am at present working on building sites and have started to get fed up with it. I know I am one of the lucky ones as I still have a job, but I really want to get back to what I like. The problem is that I dont want go and work direct for a company again as I have been shafted by companies before, so this time I really what to get my own truck and do my own thing but I really need some advise and help. I have done mainly bulk tipping work for a local farm, but that didn’t end to well when he stopped paying me properly (£160 per week in the end with no explanation)… Any help anyone can give me regarding all aspects of getting started would greatly appreciated.
