Held up for 2 hours southbound on the M11 from J8 (Stansted) yesterday. On reaching crash scene saw that a Kent Connection artic had jack-knifed and another artic had run into him 
It was a complete mess. Anyone know if the drivers’ were ok. Sincerely hope so.
ALLEGDLY, the driver of one truck stopped on the hard shoulder a few miles south of J8 (where there are services!!) southbound for a pee 
, second truck hit him up the back (allegedly), driver died virtually instantly!
How do I know? A mate of mine was one of the firefighters who pulled him out afterwards. M11 was shut for quite a few hours while police investigated.
