if you’ve got no experience, any chance is worth taking, you’ve just got to stick at it for 6 months or so to get the required level of experience and then the job market is your to play with so to speak. My pay isn’t much more than that, but it’s a lot better than my last job and I’m glad to have been given the chance to start my lorry driving career.
yeh im a newbie, been looking for a while. so think your ang on there. to be fair, no jobs around here pay much more, the wage is low. its a markect which is good if you want staff.
the thing is here is that you paid all that money out for a better class licence and are working for 7.5 ton money ,ive just taken a class 2 because i cannot get class 1 ,came close at 7 quid an hour TOLD THEM sod the experience ,im better off on the rigids ,anyway 20800 plus 45 bonus job and fin max 47 then paid for any xtra and i still dont think thats enough really ,i would keep looking rather than be a slave
