Just passed my cat C today!
6 minors. was quite pleased about that!
Ive got a quick question, how do i get my digitach card??

you ned to get an application form either from dvla or your nearest area traffic office

Your local Driver Hire office will give you a digicard appliation as part of the starter pack when you sign up. Costs 38 quid for the first card.

Digital tachos are usually required by agencies if you work for them but you are responsible for getting one. If you work for a non-agency they might be nice and pay for it but don’t hold your breath!

Can I drive a tractor unit on a cat C licence?
Ive been told that I cant by some people, however for my job I take Tractor units to MOT and on roadtests. Im a mechanic.
If anyone knows the official law on this it would be a great help

YES you can - it is classed a C
It only becomes C+E when it has the +E bit (the trailer) attached.
Same as a C rigid becomes C+E when the Drag is attatched.

forget about the 5th wheel plate myths etc.
