Stopped to fuel up at Texaco on the A435 just leaving Brum this morning. Only one Hgv pump so went into the shop to get some provisions, and to hand my card in. Truck in front pulled forward to let me fuel up, and he went in to sign for his fuel. He came out and went as I was fuelling up. Anyway 400 and summat litres later, I went in to sign for my fuel, and discovered that he had taken my card   No excuse really as it had my reg no. on it. So currently got no fuel card whilst waiting for key fuels to sort it out.
The truck in question was a white Merc Atego four wheeler, dunno the reg, not many about tho hey■■? Â Â Â Â Was it you?

have the garage not got the reg of the vehicle, surely they record them and it will be the transaction before yours. or try the CCTV the time of your transaction will tel you when.
surely you would be able to trace them through this?
i know it doesnt help if you need diesel now but you could be a ■■■■■ for for a few days and steal it from truckers sleeping in a layby!

Or go upto another driver and say “Another driver has gone off with my card and I was wondering if I could borrow yours” at least it wil be different from the normal my mums in hospital. but I bet you’ll still get the normal [zb]

Sounds like they are a bit like a real life version of the company in the office, apparently the parent group specialise in corrugated packing!
Ive come close to that one, I filled up with a shell card in bradford west yorks, went to london done deliverys there then did last drop in harlow, then decided i needed some fuel, went to the shell garage handed card in like you do filled up went back in garage to sign only to find out i had someone elses card, mmmm weird im thinking lol.
Rang work only to discover the guy in the shell garage in bradford gave my card to a car transporter driver by mistake, my company gave me his phone number I pressume they had sorted that out earlier without telling me until i found out for myself , I then rang car transporter man to see were he was, and by luck he was just coming off the M25 onto the M11 heading north and was one junction from harlow bargain he popped in to the shell garage were we swapped cards back to the rightfull owners lol. .
I was happy and so was the mr shell man too…
Just wondered if any of you lot had experienced a dilema like that one.
