We now have these useless cards! Does anyone know of an HGV compatible station near Slough? I thought Key Fuels was bad but these are hopeless! Most of the ones I have found are only suitable for smaller vehicles, and the app is no good as I can’t get it for my Windows phone. Any help will be much appreciated!
Most supermarkets do this, trick is finding one that are HGV friendly…
Our fuel cards are accepted at over 7,000 filling stations throughout the UK, including BP, Shell, Esso, Texaco, Tesco, Morrisons, The Co-operative Food, Gulf, Pace and Emo, as well as forecourts on the Diesel Direct (Keyfuels) and UK Fuels networks.
Have already looked at that link and it only wants to tell me where the ones are near our yard! All I want is a list of hgv stations not to play hunt the diesel!!!

Deselect the networks that you don’t want like shell etc etc, and then drill down by clicking on area, then down again, and again until you zoom in close enough to see nearest sites.
When you get to click on a site icon it will say in ‘Site Facilities’ if it has HGV or not.
I use a UK Fuels card, the price is good but the coverage is very patchy.
Do you have to fill up in Slough? If you do distance work you might be able to find sites on your regular routes.

Not usually a problem. Unit holds around 800lt but the tank for the donkey engine is only about 60lt and had 2 crap jobs that took ages and used loads of fuel. If I have to I will put 20lt in in cash and take the receipt in and tell them the card is useless! Had the misfortune to have one once before but in a 10tonne recovery truck it’s not such an issue.

think it will have to be that one. Can go from here, M25, M3 and cut across. Just annoying that I have to go out of my way. Surely any saving they make is lost with us going out of the way to get fuel?

UK Fuels use MOST (but not all) the same places as Key Fuels. I believe (so I’m told) that Key Fuels actually owns UK Fuels now, and it’s only admin stopping it being used at ALL Key fuels places…
Texaco Fast Fuel sounds like a bad idea.
The coverage on those cards is awfull and the majority of ones I have been to are barely big enough for a 7.5 tonner bar a few, all I can say is thank god we also have bp cards…
