hi all, im new to this site and im looking for either informtion or some photos of DRINKWATERS HAULAGE.my dad drove for them in the 60s and speaks highly of his time in LONDON driving for them,can anybody help?
Hi, I have put a book together about companies involved in hauling London’s refuse. There is quite a large chapter on Drinkwaters. Go to www.tipperlorries.com and there will also be a review of the book in Januarys Trucking mag out on 5th December.I know its a long shot but if your Dad can remember any reg numbers of the wagons he drove I may be able to get some shots for you as there was a lot of unused material.Even if he could let me know what sort of wagon ie Guy bulker, Foden tanker etc I may be able to help although cant promise.
