class 2 test pass

Hi, just passed my class 2 on 21 nov and am over the moon . However would like some advice. Back in 2006 i passed my auto pcv and have been driving them for around 2.5 years. I would like to know if my newly accquired lgv licence will upgrade my pcv so that i can drive manual coaches as the bus company i currently still owns a couple of manuals,

Also any info on how i can get started in haulage industry (in west of scotland area) would be much appreciated ie companies that will give me a start.

PCV auto will now be manual as well

Make sure you check your driving licence once the DVLA send it back, they’ve been known to forget to update their records for Upgrading and peeps that have passed Manual Cat. C have not had their Auto Cat. D changed over to manual entitlement.

If that should happen then a quick call to the DVLA to advise them of the problem will sort things out.

Got my licence back, but with no upgrade on the bus side of things (not sure why i sad cos i can now drive lorries). Gonna try phonin dvla tomorrow to see if this is just a glitch but not very optimistic

Phoned dvla today and got a great result , by the looks of it i shall be gettin my cat d upgraded. Should know before christmas so will keep you all posted as to how i get on.

cat d now upgraded . Now all i need is a start in da haulage industry lol.
