Depends what you lost it for … most companies insurance restricts recent bans and excessive points.
Unfortunately your experiance will count for nowt til your licence is clean once more,
depending on the severity of your ban this could be 4 years or 11 years.

Bigmick, having worked 2 on 2 off on the rigs in the past, I know that most people who work on the rigs do twice the work allowed by law in half the time, that being said you should be very careful with regards to the working time directive as I’m sure VOSA would take a very dim view of you driving a truck during your “time off”.
