Accident A59 Bluberhouses sometime fri afternoon/ evening anyone know what happened ? any wagons involved ? Road closed inbetween Menwith and Bolton Bridge

The car driver died, the 2 passengers survived.The truck driver is physically ok but very upset about the incident. The car driver was overtaking a caravan at the time and collided head on with the truck.
Very, very dangerous section of road along Kexgill. I used to work for the highways and attended a lot of accidents there. Apparantly too, its only a matter of time before there will be a huge landslip along that section, god forbid anyone who is unlcky enough to be in the vicinity.
Thanks again for info chaps, apparently it wasn’t up Kexgill but down at the bottom next to Fewston resevoir. As for the landslips they had one earlier this year, all mended now … until the next time. Anyone know whose wagon it was ?
Glad the lorry drivers ok. Had a look at the link and found this one too. Remanded in custody for racial abuse. She should have mugged a pensioner, she’d have got away with that.
