Mate of mine has been there about 3 months now…He loves it.Said the planners are sound.Think the hourly rate starts at £9 something. But goes up after 8 hours to 12 i think he said.Plenty of hours. But furthest north he goes is Watford.Mostly London from Gillingham.Get paid extra for tipping too.And some other things on top of that also.

Thanks, it does sound a decent job…I’ll crack on with an application.

Anyone know if they have a depot in Essex?

Tried to call the office - still waiting for them to get back to me.

Cheers

I do see the odd one in France every now & again.

Not yet as far as i know.As my mate lives in Romford.Started with them a few months back. And has to go to Ridham to get the truck. He did say they might be putting some into Purfleet sometime though.

I see a lot of there tanks on the A1M in the North Yorkshire area so wondered where they were based?

Exactly my thoughts-£9.00 per hour for driving a ■■■■■■■ artic? And “it sounds like a decent job”!!!
Sounds like a ■■■■ take more like

I see themon the ferry from Cairnryan to Larne on a regular basis . They always seem happy enough.

May be wrong, but where they not bought out by GCA not long ago?

Yes … GCA did buy them, but I seem to think it is run as a totally separate Co. I know another poster said he had seen them in France … but they always did some work into Europe before.
Don’t know anything about working for them … only that they do have trucks based all over the place.

At least its not just me that questions what andrew.s and Terry T’s priorities are

Frilly peek a boos included ■■ :open_mouth:
Goes without saying, gone from a decent job to a better job, but the deal breaker is definitely a rack of spot lamps on the roof :sunglasses: ,…I’d even take a quid an hour less.

I’d work for minimum wage for a V8…
