Waiting to load in Thisted, Northern Denmark complete with drivers mate for the week

Best education they can get, being out, seeing new places, how the world of work is. Went out with my dad every day I could from the age of three. Map reader extraordinaire :sunglasses: in no time.

Agree great working for a company that allows them to come along and on the continent no one is worried that you have a child in tow. Although she now refuses to eat pork having seen the live pigs being unloaded and realising that is where her bacon came from :frowning:

looks the spit of my own daughter at a similar age…used to smuggle her over and back in the top bunk…she decided to go vegetarian around the same time…then vegetarian with popcorn chicken being exempt, then anything from kfc, then mcdonads sneaked in,and frankfurters abroad and hotdogs in uk…then it all kinda faded away back to normal after that…nice plant bud.

She’s dirty she’s old the gearbox has gremlins and the inside smells like a wet dog but I quite like her

That’s the main thing! Being stuck in a lorry you don’t like really is a drag.

after a week of fun in memphis back to reality waiting in the petro truckstop west memphis for a reload

Doing something different this week.

I was driving this erm… ’ thing ’ on Saturday

Bloody 16’ 2" high, extra long trailer with rear steer axle.

16’2… Safe to say the company isn’t afraid of bridges then.

Yep, it’s an almost-all DAF fleet. I got this one on 60k and a pre-damaged ns front step, it’s taken me a few weeks to get her sparkling… the only downside is that I’ll be nearly at the back of the queue for the new model. Oh, and that it goes out without me so I almost never get to drive it this clean and my neatly organised side lockers only stay that way whilst I’m in it :unamused:

Yes was one of the many things that ground me down there,I had wheel trims and allsorts on mine, just got sick of them been abused, one thing is the maintenance especially up north was spot on,just wish they had made the drivers respect a trampers truck more

New job for me, and a good motor to boot!
Happy days.
