Davies Int. Southampton. With photos (Part 1)

John we have always tried to turn out to our best abilities with our trucks over the years but sadly as a sign of the times we now only run a fleet of ten along way down from our prime in the 90’s when we had 33 on the go, never thought we would have driver shortages as in my day there were two or three wanted a start every week but not so today. When you here our present crew talking about the “stinky express” ie the train under the channel tunnel you realise there are not so many companies still at the euro job based in the UK any more and this is taken over now by what they call “flip flops” Eastern Europeans. shame really but makes you realise us olduns did the job when it was good and enjoyable.
Makes you wonder how long you can carry on as the loyalty thing seems something from the past nowadays but we still have all our memories and no one can take those away from us, cheers Buzzer.
