0Hi Pete, This one didnt have powered steering, But was the 698 Engine which was no bother other than a head gasket a couple of times, Nigel did long haul work all the time, Well paid rush jobs a lot, Which of course we prefered to do, But it could carry 4 Tonnes which was a good payload running at 7.5.Tonnes gross, It was tops on MPG, It had two fuel tanks on when I bought it, But we decided to fit a larger single tank which IIRC Was a 50 gallon one, As soon as Nigel reached 21 years of age We put him in for class 1 one training through the RHA lot, Then went on to drive out Seddon Aki artic,And he loved the sleeper cab I must say, The good old long gone days,   .Regards Larry.

Hiya,
I’ve said it before Larry but I think you had a cracking livery.

Aye Harry, and the paint job on the Sed Atki didn’t look to bad either!
Ps. I see there’s a whisky collection coming up for sale, is it Larry’s
under a nom de plume?  regards Kev.

Oh dear I shall have to withdraw from the sale, The ones I had in mind only 30 bottles all empty    , Regards Larry.
