Would you buy it?

Thats a brand new house in the background just beside the level crossing and within 20 feet of the railway track.
Nice quiet house eh?.

Don’t worry, if they are like some around here they will soon be campaigning to get the line closed  , probably didn’t notice it when they bought the house!

Pete.

Electric supply nearby, easy commute ,alarm clock not required ,ideal if trainspotter anorak ,quite in the autunm (leaves on line) .What else could you want?

There’s one in Spalding near my aunties house in pretty much the same situation. It was built in the 80’s iirc and sat empty for donkeys years until someone was desperate enough to buy it. Either that or they’re train spotters !

It is going to be worth a mint.

Every train spotter in Britain would bid for it,

It will probably be used by a housing association for the provision of social housing. To a large family from the third world, that would be a veritable palace in the land of plenty

We had a new estate built next door to the bus depot I worked out of. Before we knew it, the complaints were coming in about the noisy buses starting up at 4.00 am, or coming in at 2.00 am. :unamused:
