Welcome to TruckNet UK norby789  .
Which area do you live in

As where to look for work you could send your
cv off to some companies or visit them in person
or phone but dont email. You should look over hours
and tacho regs ect. Or if you dont wont permanent you
could sign up with a agency.

You do the right thing doing a refresher as a guy told me
when he got done for drink driving he thought he could
get straight back in a artic but he said it took a while to
get used to driving one again

Hi
thanks
I live in exmouth near exeter.

WELCOME TO TRUCKNET NORBY789 Don’t think that there is alot of work for driver’s down your neck off the wood’s.The best thing you could do is cold calling to firm’s in your area, how they will react to you not been driving for 9-10 years is anyone’s guess.I suppose you could tell a white lie.Good luck m8.You could try a few agency’s in your area.

This guy as a full size artic and I
believe MrFlibble of this forum did
his training with this company.
I think they should do refresher
courses to -
lorrydrivertraining.co.uk/

You could try these for work -
roadhaulage.co.uk/home.php
roadhaulage.co.uk/View/Snip/devon
Yellow Pages
Job Centre
Thomson
Driving Hours ect

thanks kit kat

Correct. I’d certainly recommend them, and I’m sure Steve would be able to work out a deal with you for the amount of training you want.

Here’s a pick of their artic training vehicle
