Hey to all the members here, found the site care of a link a friend of mine sent me. Logged into a duplicate site by mistake (I know, that ■■■■ sat-nav!!) but I’m here at last.
At the moment I am driving an 06 DAF CF85 480 (AS Tronic) with a Whale 6500gallon triaxle tanker. The Daf has just replaced a Renault Premium 420dci (crunch-a-matic) which we had on hire after our old 4x2 CF 380 left us.
All being well I am heading back to my old firm shortly though. Work will involve Celcon, Aggregate Industries, Baggeridge, Forticrete and the like. Anyone else on this job? I left it due to nights out and the salary offered in my new job but after a year or more, better wages and no nights out with the old firm I decided to admit defeat, hear all the “I told you so” from one and all and jump back in the seat. Minimal nights out this time round too!!! Truck is a blue chassis white cabbed Topline 420 6x2 with a red (at the mo) SDC 40footer, with dropsides and a Hiab 100.1 (I think) centremount.
