I know it’s a long - shot, but did you ever go to the American Auto meeting at the hotel in Walsall just off J 7 - M6 ?
I think it was about 1981 or so ( I could be wrong )
I will post pics when I can .( A mint condition '80 Trans Am was there, called Bandit ).

Why don’t get over here, buy one for $100 and export it, I see loads of the rotting on front lawns with “FOR SALE BY OWNER” signs in the windows

Over here, we used to call that graphic on the bonnet the “screaming chicken”.
Niall, I was in the AAC from about 90, till 92. I did billing, Newark, West Brom, and Weston Park shows, I did attend a meeting at Moxhull Hall one time. I donrt remember Walsall, and it wernt 81 for deff!
Cheers Pat, she was a minter in cond, but the petrol prices and a big tax bill when I had me own trucks put paid to my ownership.
