Hi all i have just passed my cat C and im thinking about doing cat D iv heard that i can take my test in an auto and get a full manual because iv passed c is this true ?
If you have passed cat C the natural progression is Cat C+E what is it you are wanting to drive?

ROG will be along soon with your answer and some other advice. 
Thats a strange way round, usually bus drivers with automatic licences do a Cat C manual and then get a full Cat D. However if you do choose to do an automatic Cat D you will get full manual entitlment. Similarly if you then do a Cat C+E you will get a Cat D+E as well, or vice versa. Then you can bat down the motorway with a small trailer full of luggage on the back of a coach that you can’t see, and would never be able to reverse!

Yes it is true that you can take a bus/coach test in an auto and now you have your LGV licence you will get the full D licence also.
Cant see a problem in wanting to take D as well as C.
