Old wagons running through Halifax

Years ago I remember my Dad taking us to the end of Beacon Hill Road to watch loads of old motors. I seem to remember it being a cross Pennine thing that ended in Harrogate.

I only mentioned it because I saw a few today near Shibden park

yep i remember going to watch it every year, at the traffic lights at stump cross

Today was the 37th HCVS Trans Pennine Run from Birch services on the M62 to the Stray at Harrogate.

If you saw a Black Atkinson Borderer come thundering past you with a scruffy looking 40 foot box on the back, it was me driving!

Hope you enjoyed the convoy of oldies!
