I recently passed my CAT C theory test and am now looking for good HGV training companies in the South East. I live in Camberley but would be willing to travel and maybe stay in a B&B to get a place with a good reputable training company with recommended instructors
From reading these forums I think I would be looking at 5 - 10 days training and a cost of roughly £1,000 - £2,000 Lets hope I manage to pass 1st time

If you click the link in my signature it will lead you to an index where you can access a lot more info which may be of use to you
To book any LGV training I suggest the trainee-to-be, visits the training school, meets the head person(s) and has a quick look at the truck BEFORE parting with any money.
Using the site Search facility and putting the words TRAINING AND WHERE you wish to train may turn up some recommendations.
i did mine with zenith down in lee on solent (by portsmouth) , plenty of cheap b+b’s out of season, and they were brilliant. i couldnt fault them, only cost about £1000 for the course (5 days, 3 hours a day, with test on friday). give them a call for up to date figures, 02392 556234.
very helpful company and a good setup, they use a disused air field for your reversing and braking exercise, no joe public to worry about.
a few people on here have used them and i have never heard anyone complain about them
if ur willing to travel oop north to carlisle in ■■■■■■■ then system-group.com/welcome-system-group is ur answer, u are with them all day everyday and it would cost about £1050 for 5days and includes ur test fees! 5days should be enough for the ‘C’ licence. the areas where u go are easy as r the test routes as up here is mainly rural and the city centre unlike any other city isnt conjested. i passed both class 1+2 with them in a space of 5months, theyve got about 3 rigids and they r fairly new, reliable and its cheap to stop as theres loads of b&b’s fighting for each others business.
if u want any more info, just let me know
