There have been rumours about this for some while. I believe traffic on the other routes has fallen short of expectations too.

Its wonderful at Dover now.

All them different concrete lanes block up access to book in at P&O, Seafrance, Norfolk Line and LD Lines.
So does not matter if your shipper is empty as you can’t get off weighbridge to book in if its busy…

New road out of Dover docks will be completed in 3 weeks.
Traffic for Folkestone will bear LEFT around customs shed on a new road and join Townwall Street past the bottleneck roundabout at Dover docks entrance. Local and Canterbury traffic will operate as before…

is it me or are the queues of the weighbridge always due to the queue getting onto p&o’s booths? its pandemonium there when they dont have many booths open
