does anybody know if you can drive from lux to freiburg on the ban. if you book. the train to novara. And what about rtn if i get back sat night. can i drive through france to get back to lux or do i park up at terminal in freiburg. Around how much would it cost in tolls. novara to rome and back. thanks
IF YOU HAVE A FAX which states that you have a place
on the sunday train then yes, also if you get back on
saturday night, go via PEARL or TRIER ; as you can
not drive in france with out a permit which are very hard to get
unless carrying you have a fridge or air freight,food products,
get a e-mail off to the
kombi train station and
send your question in
english they will answer
you back asap,
i belive that you can drive
how ever i am not 100%
sure as we have permits
which allow us to drive on
all those days and times when
a driveing ban is in force,
as for the costs from NOVERA --ROME
try doing a google for a italian road charge
site which give the costs,
have a look at the usefull links site

From Novara to Rome is about e35.00 in a van so you are probably only looking at about e60 max.
Please bear in mind that you can’t use DKV for tolls and it is hit and miss if a UK credit card works in their machine.
