Wouldn’t accept my card this morning for some reason. Kept showing “no card inserted 24” even though it showed my name when ejecting 
When I got a printout it showed my name but driving it just kept saying no card inserted & it wouldn’t allow me to put in any breaks.
Is the card or tacho duff or am I doing something wrong?

Realised today its not an error 24 
but a 28 Still not registering my card.
Checked it in a couple of other wagons today & the card works ok so it must be the tacho. Reported it to the office so will see what happens.
Anyone know how long you can drive with a duff tacho (without having to look it up)?

it is a week and manual records must be kept for the period when it is not working. - DOH

If it is recognising your card because it is showing your name but is reporting driving without card you sure you haven’t stuck it in slot 2 by mistake. It would act this way if you had stuck it in slot 2 by mistake. Guess how I know that.
