This was ace, they take disabled children on a trip from Norwich to Pleasurewood Hills near Lowestoft via Yarmouth.
They came right past our house (we live on the road that was the A12 before the Gorleston Relief Road was built), 80 units in convoy with a police bike ■■■■■■, all had horns going and the kids were waving from the cabs.
Some lovely trucks amongst them. 
well done to all the truckers that are involved,we have the same thing up here in glasgow and edinburgh but it’s the taxi drivers that take the kids.well done again. 
The Childrens convoy is every Bank Holiday August and run by the East Coast Truckers Club, I think they are based at the Norfolk Dumpling Cafe on the Norwich Livestock Market.
Can’t remember how many years it’s been running now, but its has become quite an event. Even got quite a good spot on the local news.
