My day started at 4.30am, down to yard check lights etc and head south on the A816 towards Lochgilphead. Then onto the A83 For Campbeltown. First drop is in Ardrishaig, some very expensive marble fire surrounds which i managed not to break, its then on to Kenna craig Ferry terminal for the crossing to Isaly…
The opposition are parked in front of us in the Queue for the ferry. Half an hour to kill before the MV Isle of Arran departs, time for a quick cuppa and a squint at the paper.
Not much on the the first few drops were handball, arrive at farm near Bowmore and crane off some timber, not much left on the motor just some odds and ends and 6 packs of monoblock paving
Time to head for Bruichladdich
A quick stop at the famous Bruichladdich Distillery
then onto Port Charlotte. Looking out over Lochindaal, next stop America!
Last of the load crained off at a builders yard. Atlas crane makes short work of the 6 pallets
Time for the ferry back to kennacraig. All in all 4.30am start finished at 7.30pm and spent 8 hours travelling on the ferry and up and donw the road to the ferry terminal. All to do again on Thursday!
