Currently running cf85 fleet spec 6x4 p/moverswith 430hp daf engine specs to meet euro3 with zf 16 sp manual g/box, looking to buy two new Daf which is
Euro 4 apparently whole new package not an upgrade of the 430hp engine
extra tank for add blue, New hp ratings for Australia are 410hp, new models
released with auto changing 12 speed box, with a clutch but no clutch pedal,changing done automatically ■■
Truck Manufacturers of the new models are tested in UK/Europe before going oversea,s
looking for any views or comments as we cant buy cf85 anymore,
Like Daf, hope the new model are ok
if it’s the same 12 speed box (autochange) as we run then the change is auto but with manual overide available. Early units had problems with clutch plate sticking on splines but soon rectified and no problems with later units
they feel a bit slow to change but when pulling alongside a manual they both perform about the same.
all ours are 430 hp so can’t comment on the 410 engine
