Current fuel prices

Sorry, but here we go again, just me being nosey.

Just returned from holiday and can’t believe how much its gone up.

I know Gordon hit us with 2p, but I was down to 75p-odd a few weeks ago.

Back up to 83.2 last week for usage of 20000L per week.

What are you lot paying?

Cheers

K

the week Gordon had 2p the card companies had another 2p :imp: :imp: :imp:

only price I’ve got at the moment is 84.08 (last weeks best was 83.99)

(based on a usage a lot less than yours - this time of year is quieter so probably 2000 litres a month rising to 4000 litres a month during the autumn)

you should be able to get a better deal than me :open_mouth: how many fuel companies do you deal with ?

Deal with five fuel companies - best price today 82.5 for this week!

K

you moan about paying 82p per litre

just see how much this lot have to pay per litre

lol

The 82 pence is before VAT which takes it to 96.35, theft in any language

again the above pic is £1.22 LOL

I’m surprised it’s still in business charging those prices, you’d have to be desperate to pay that

its out int he stick though, place called loch rannoch bout 30 miles west of pitlochory

Down a bit this week - 82.15ppl

I’ve no truck at present (not for a few years now) but had a letter out the blue from RED , price for w/c 3rd May was = 83.08p

standard “fishing” exercise ( all fuel card co’s do it)

If you applied you might find you weren’t using quite enough volume to get that price

Better ready for things to get a good bit worse yet. The dollar is dropping like a stone and oil will trade in an inverse relationship to it. Crude is up another $5 a barrel this week alone. Unfortunatly sterling is not strong enough to counter it. Daft thing is there are tankers of the stuff parked up all over the world that there are no buyers for but traders still keep driving the price higher.

I have a mental image of ReD’s office up the road, with the staff playing a numbers version of pin the tail on the donkey ! :unamused:
