Still wondering what to get for yer best truckie mate ? well i popped into west & wales volvo at calne to get a blowing manifold gasket done it was all go till they jacked the cab looked at the engine & said it was the flexi pipe to the exhaust box ,which it wasn’t, but they replaced it anyway but it still didn’t sort my manifold gasket ! but for xmas they got it sorted !

ah aparently i have the bodged euro 5 egr engine which took it back to euro 4 regs but should have been a euro 5 svr & a manifold gasket change on my engine is a 3 hour job at least unlike other ‘normal’ engines which are approx 1 /1.5 hours , no wonder the lads at calne only wanted to refit the flexi pipe
