Due to start my first ever Class 1 job on a 13 week temp-to-perm with Bibby’s on Monday night…doing night trunking in curtainsiders to RDC’s for one of their contracts out of Wigan (my hometown 
).
Anyone on here worked for Bibby?
See loads of their trucks about…but can anybody tell me what they are like to work for? Good? Ok? Poor?
…and since I only passed Class 1 in May…what are their driving assessments like?
If their anything like the site they used to have at the back Leeds/Bradford airport pretty ■■■■■■
Take a good book with you - loads of waiting around. Transport planners there couldn’t organise a bun fight in a bakery. But like any big firm there will be some good numbers to be on and some crap ones.
Assessment - just drive like your on test. Mine at LBA site was the usual checks, couple, uncouple, then drive less than two miles down the road, turn round and back to the yard.

I did some night shifts for them out of Leeds/Bradford airport.
Kit was in good condition, warehouse lads ok but the usual half-wit transport jockeys in the office.
We fell out of love over a cardboard number plate that I put in the bin.
They then retreived it. I got my car keys out and went home.
invoiced for 8 hours and got paid 8 hours
