Another night heater question

didnt want to hijack the other thread
have a scania now :unamused: night heater works but dont know how to set the temp or timer (if there is one) its the one where you can take control box off the wall . also what battery does the control box use.
any help please :wink:

never have worked the timer out but to do the temp press the big middle button in keep it pressed then press the < button just below and on the left at the same time. u will then see a number on the screen. let go of buttons. use < or > to turn temp up or down then press the big button again till the time comes back on. job done. 9volt battery btw.

the control box just pulls out, instruction for setting timer etc. are on the back of the control, if i remember correctly it takes a pp3 square battery :wink:

once you have read the instructions it is very easy and you can program for the next 7 days iirc {think its one of them square batterys}

thanks all :smiley:

I thought they were better in ye olden days when the control was just an analogue clock with a little hand that you twiddled about exactly like a setting the alarm on a wind-up alarm clock. You only ever need it to come on in the early morning on a night-out anyway, anyone who sets it to warm the cab up on a Monday morning before they arrive at work is a soft â– â– â– â–  anyway.

Beats scraping ice off the windscreen at silly o’ clock in the morning though :wink:
