Post note, received an email this evening from a friend who works at the same place as i was made redundant from, she told me that the transport manager was called into a meeting fired on the spot and escorted from the building. o happy days.

If they use it with a sleeper cab, it’ll be over-length so will be classed as an abnormal load with all the aggravation that entails.
i think they may be hoping the legislation will change.
Good luck with it full time mate. I was offered a position with them last august running out of Newhouse working with the rail way head running in containers to tesco. Sometime I wounder if I made the right decission by turn it down and working for a local company.
