Am I Mad Or What?

Hi people, new member here, what a great forum. Ive been off the road for 2 years now and i miss it badly, i work in the construction industry driving a excavator, home every night etc etc. The company i work for also run artics with sand trailers and 8 wheeled tippers doing day work which i cover for holidays and sick leave etc. I originally left the road to spend more time at home and to start a family which i have now done. Im so desperate to get back on the road but she wont hear of it. Am i mad or has the diesel got into my blood??

dont forget to get her to ■■■■■ your curtains before you wake and leave the hoover running all night (it will sound like a reefer after a while) then at 3 in the morning stand by your bed and shout at the top of her voice “gizza hand john, this ■■■■■■■ park brakes stuck on!”

or what.

Sounds like it…

a mate of mine who has worked on 360 plant for about 6 years wants to become a truckdriver because he thinks it will be exciting & romantic. I am looking for a 7 till 4 job in a quarry driving a loading shovel or a caterpillar.

I suggested we teach each other all we know and introduce ourselves to the others boss :stuck_out_tongue:
