I know it’s for airport driving, but how do you get one, and what is involved in getting one. And why is one required.

Is it Cargo handling security training you need, or as a driver required to deliver/pick up goods? If its the later, this course should be adequate and is priced at £11.00 i believe.
Air Cargo Security Level 4
General Awareness Training
This training is mandatory for all Regulated Agents and drivers collecting / delivering ‘Known’ air cargo
The course duration is four (4) hours and covers
Module 1 - The threat to aviation and the objectives and organisations of aviation security
Module 2 - Principles of the cargo security regime
Module 6 - Recognition and reaction to suspicious circumstances
Module 11 - Handling a telephone bomb warning
Refresher courses are recommended every 3 years by the Dept for Transport
