Evening all… Another post asking about componys lol…i been offered a job at MRS distribution @ there colvile site does anyone work there? or has worked there?
Just wondering wot the job is like?
how are the guys treated?
I know about the wage but they do this thing with the overtime where they keep it back from you for 20 weeks and then pay you it in one lump sum or in time off (this is there choice) i imagine it would be to costly to give time off and fill the trucks with agencys.
What does everybody think is that a gud thing or would u steer clear■■?
I worked for MRS for 3 Months, out of Sheerness depot, this was a few years ago, have also done some work out og Grief’s at Ellesmere Port via an agency, in the last year…
Glad to have seen the back of them, BUT there are drivers there who are happy with thier lot. The thing that got to me was the seemingly lack of planing that meant stupid start/finish times, that varied so much in a week you were constantly shattered, cos the bodyclock was shot.
