A cautionary tale.

Got me thinking , that’s all.
Coming down the A46 from Newark today, 39 on the s/c as per the norm with a long queue behind. No worries. Gets to the dual and up the cruise goes to 49 and all the irate ones come flying past.Again no worries. Artic passes me at a rate of knots too. Whatever.

10 mins later the traffic is at a halt and 4 cars are strewn acrooss both lanes, one facing the wrong way.The aforementioned artic (i won’t name n shame) is also stopped and has damage to the rear of the trailer.

Now I don’t know (or care) who was at fault but when the hgv drivers tacho is looked at it will show he was speeding.

All I’m saying is…is it worth it. Personally I don’t but some others don’t seem to be bothered but I know one driver tonight who WILL BE .

it is not worth it anymore
10 Years ago was the Lorry needed to keep the Industry running.
Today is the Lorry a part of warehouse policy, and the Industry isn’t interested in bad promotion of Lorries, with Speeding or other Offences on the Road.
