Welcome to eBay, and gumtree, ■■■■■■■■ advertised price crap. Advertisers are allowed to put anything in the header, and then put the real price in the description. Amongst other things (page after page of identical trade adverts… :imp: :imp: :imp: :imp: :imp: ), that’s why I stopped using eBay.

Usual trick. Don’t want to pay for a classified ad or a reserve as they cost money, while an auction only means you pay the percentage. Trouble with a truck, that’s going to be a high figure when the sale makes upwards of 20k. A starting bid costs bugger all. Meaning you’ve got your truck in a free advert, and nobody will bid at almost a mil, so you’re safe from the sellers fee

This is what its about, working the system. Same as Gumtree, if youve got a lot of trade vehicles for sale, once one is sold, let the ad run and just update it with edit with a new description and pictures, an update is 5.50eur, a new ad from scratch 17eur…
