Dozy , meals were free for drivers on ferries to France and Northern Spain until the masses had to spoil it for the rest of us by stealing croissants, bread, ham, cheese to save them buying food when they later disembarked.
The meals were top quality dining including fresh sea food , unlimited hot drinks and a four course meal .
So now you pay a percentage of the meal so no longer free .
