A genuine question…
Platooning.
Is there anyone on here who would willingly be in a platooned truck 1 metre from the back doors of the one in front for 4.5hrs?
Think about that. It would scare the ■■■ out of me.
Apparently a driver has to be in attendance in case of emergency and to take over, but the sheer boredom and the fact that the driver WILL be looking out of the side windows or at a screen of some sort makes this a short cut to the graveyard in my opinion.
I cant imagine any transport company having enough money to pay me to do that. Or have I got it all wrong? Im not great at tech stuff.
