Derick Thomas, hereford had an Erf like in the bottom picture, put a stock box on it. Was cream and red in colour. Went down Wales way.
Think he had it off Tom Edwards that used to run a couple of lorry s in Leominster.

Answer about the odd looking cab.
In 1953 a special version of the Mammoth Major MkIII truck was made to haul energy and sports drinks. The cab was built near the Lucozade factory by University Coachworks Ltd of Boston Road and the light alloy platform body was by Homalloy.

Another British company sold off recently to Japan.

I can remember an old mate of my fathers driving for them. He was based in Kingswood in Bristol. If my memory serves me correct his name was Johnny Gale.
