If if the maximum length for a rigid vehicle is 12.2m. Can I exceed this if I take a drivers mate? If so what is the max overhang I am allowed? Is it 10’ (3m)?

From ancient memory banks, it is 2m overhang at the front, and 3m overhang at the rear before it becomes ‘notifiable’.
Although I think Con & Use in relation to AIL’s changed in recent years.
