Afternoon all today we littered up the steers and also 8 big barrow loads of leaves were put under them as well, good way of disposing of them. Then a trip to watch a grandson play football and on to the beach, a lovely sunny afternoon at Lee on the Solent where a large mug of tea and one of tomato soup plus a small tray of chips with a large sausage was had with change from a fiver, amazing value in todays terms for sure. Then back to the marsh field to play ball with woody the Labrador, now home for a roast lamb dinner at five, Buzzer

Hell " Wrighty " you don’t hang around on your job what with securing the loads as well, you must have a secret helper secreted on that truck somewhere.Ringrose was asking about a picture of the new Chereau trailers well here you go courtesy of " snapper " Morrison taken in the yard, notice he is not coupled up but his trailer wont be long before it arrives, there will be more pictures pretty soon if i know Andrew he wont be able to resist, Buzzer.
At this rate I won’t have to put any up your doing it all for me JD lol
Good evening everyone.Myself & Chip loading for Queen Elizabeth in Vigo as JD mentioned before not as regular as it used to be but we’re still around when needed & where we all loaded they glad to see us & not the Taliban but that’s transport in the modern day for ya !!
Vigo for the weekend & the arrival of another rest dotted all over the place shame really as not had a proper group pic for a while!
3 of us tipping at the blunt end whilst the other 3 tipped at the pointy end oh & Chip doing his best at photo bombing lol
Funny things happen when you least expect it.Myself & Chip minding our own bees wax when all of a sudden there’s a big splash & water spurting everywhere to look down & find this old bloke just caught an octopus in front of us lol he gave it a swift boot or 2 to the head got a pen knife out his pocket & stabbed it between the eyes!!! Also the bait was just as funny it was a chickens foot attached to a piece of rope?? I kid you not,he then asked me to hold carrier bag open for him to put it in lol
That’s all folks for tonight & if you ever see R11 parked up anywhere Wrighty let yourself be known I may just buy you a coffee not just the Hollies either lol
Cheers Andrew

Well everyone stop being so impatient (or is it just JD)? There’s enough farming stuff to keep you all going lol it is after all a working truck so must do some work before I can take some pics of it working or resting or having a coffee break or me going to the beach lol
Cheers Andrew

Why aren’t there spare wheel carriers under the back of your new trailers then?
kmills:
Why aren’t there spare wheel carriers under the back of your new trailers then?
Ha Ha I know the answer to that one “kmills” they are now positioned midships, less water & dirt ingression and leaves a higher space under the rear of the trailer for those steep loading ramps onto and off ferries, Buzzer
Question Buzzer, What make of axles are the new vans on and which make of Fridge are they using. When we supplied traction to Ross Youngs their vans were all Lamberet boxes on Overlander chassis and Thermo King fridges. Got to say your outfits are very smart and well turned out, a credit to your two Lads ! How long will the new vans be in service ? Cheers Dennis.
